When you bring different cultures together, you create something far more powerful than just a workspace. You build an environment where every conversation is an opportunity to see a challenge through a different lens. For us, diversity isn’t a corporate checkbox; it is a strategic necessity that ensures we never settle for the status quo.
The business case for cultural diversity is clear. Research consistently shows that companies with high levels of cognitive diversity—meaning the inclusion of people who have different ways of thinking and problem-solving—are significantly more innovative.
When a team is composed of individuals from similar backgrounds, they often fall into “groupthink” and reach the same conclusions through the same logic. But when you mix 39 different nationalities and 200 unique perspectives, you create a healthy friction. This friction forces us to defend our ideas, refine our logic, and ultimately arrive at more creative and well-rounded solutions that a mono-cultural team might miss.
This transition from a single way of thinking to a global brain trust was a conscious journey. Mai Sanchez Elizondo, Paid Marketing Manager, remembers when the company first began expanding its borders.

Our Team Lead Design, Jody Poole, shared some insights into how this diversity directly affects our creative process. In a world where everyone is fighting for attention, being predictable is the greatest risk a brand faces. If a team has the same life experiences and cultural references, the work usually ends up being safe and forgettable. To create something that truly stands out, we have to step outside of a “monoculture.”
Innovation happens in the gaps where one person’s cultural instinct meets another’s blind spot. By intentionally mixing different worldviews, we ensure that our creative process is constantly being pushed into new and novel territory.

A perfect example of this philosophy in practice is our annual Hackathon.
We believe so strongly in the power of cross-cultural collaboration that we bring our team members together in one location to build the next generation of our products. In these moments, diversity moves from a concept to a tangible result. We see firsthand how a cultural nuance from one market can spark a technical breakthrough in another. By physically bringing these perspectives together, we are fostering a global brain trust that ensures our products are as diverse as the world we serve.
Our “Global DNA” is woven into the fabric of our daily operations. With team members representing 39 different cultures across 9 locations, we don’t just work across borders; we erase them.
By valuing where we come from, we are better equipped to solve the challenges of where the industry is going. At Leads.io, we will continue to invest in our people and their unique heritages because we know that the most innovative ideas don’t come from thinking the same. They come from thinking together.
